SIT系列太阳能工业温度计无需电池或电力电缆即可精确测量温度。为了获得尽可能好的视角，可以在垂直面上将阀杆调整180°，在水平面上将显示屏外壳调整180°，从而实现360°的完全旋转。工程单位可通过外部dip开关现场选择，使温度计读数在-50至300°F或-45至150°C之间。此外，大的1/2“数字显示器允许在整个房间内轻松读取测量值。SIT系列太阳温度计的额定值低至10勒克斯，非常适合在弱光应用中读数。
